This is
the Ten Commandments Bookmarker. It is a good project for young
children to do, and even adults may like to have one. It will
help children to study and learn the commandments, and also to
remember them.
PRINTING TIPS #1: It is best to put your printer on "normal
or best print" when printing. The "fast printing"
option does not print the words out clear.
PRINTING TIPS #2: The bookmark is on page #2, so to print the
bookmark only, make sure your printer is set to print from pages
2 to 2, instead of all.
NOTE: If you do not want to print the border, click on the
bookmark below, and it will take you to another page, without the
border. You will need to hit the back button in order to come
back to this page.
You may use the bookmark for your own personal use. If you would
like, you may add this site to your webpage to link to the
bookmark below. If you add the bookmark to your site, please make
a note on your site that it came from here. Thank you.
Artwork suggestions: Print out the bookmark below. Cut it out. Paste it on construction paper (the child's prefered color), then trim off extra construction paper from around the bookmark. Let dry (15 to 30 minutes - depending on glue used). While the glue is drying make a fringe for the bookmark. After drying, punch a hole at the top, and then add your fringe.
Have the children make themselves one, and one or more to give to others as a Feast, or Sabbath present.
The
child can write his/her name on the back. If giving it as a gift,
the child can write TO:..... and From:.... on the back. This way
the person recieving the gift will remember which child gave it
to them.
These are a lot of fun for the children to make, and it instills
in them the commandments that YHWH gave us all. It also instills
in them the gift of giving. ENJOY!! :0)
