Sukkot Study:
Sukkot is during the year when the leaves are changing colors. I
think that fall is the most beautiful time of the year. I hope that during
Sukkot, you will go out and enjoy the many different colors of the
leaves on the trees. See how many different colors you can
find. Remember, YHWH made all these different colors for us to
enjoy. So go out and enjoy them. :0)

Feast Of Booths Study:
Blow the horn:
PSA. 81 3 Blow the trumpet at the new moon, at the full moon, on our festal day.
4 For it is a statute for Israel, an ordinance of the Eloyhim of Jacob.
Numbers
10: 10 Also on your days of rejoicing, at your appointed
festivals, and at the beginnings of your months, you shall blow the
trumpets over your burnt offerings and over your sacrifices of
well-being; they shall serve as a reminder on your behalf before YHWH
your Eloyhim: I am YHWH your Eloyhim.
PSA.
98: 1 A psalm. Sing to YHWH a new song, for he has
done marvelous things; his right hand and his holy arm have worked
salvation for him. 2 YHWH has made his salvation known and
revealed his righteousness to the nations. 3 He has
remembered his love and his faithfulness to the house of Israel; all
the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our Eloyhim.
4
Shout for joy to YHWH, all the earth, burst into jubilant song with
music; 5 make music to YHWH with the harp, with the harp and the
sound of singing, 6 with trumpets and the blast of the ram's
horn-- shout for joy before YHWH, the King. 7 Let the sea
resound, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it.
8 Let the rivers clap their hands, let the mountains sing
together for joy; 9 let them sing before YHWH, for he comes
to judge the earth. He will judge the world in righteousness and the
peoples with equity.
Feast of Booths:
Ex.
23: 15 You shall observe the festival of unleavened bread;
as I commanded you, you shall eat unleavened bread for seven days at
the appointed time in the month of Abib, for in it you came out of
Egypt. No one shall appear before me empty-handed. 16 You shall
observe the festival of harvest, of the first fruits of your labor, of
what you sow in the field. You shall observe the festival of
ingathering at the end of the year, when you gather in from the field
the fruit of your labor. 17 Three times in the year all your
males shall appear before YHWH Eloyhim.
Ex.
34: 22 You shall observe the festival of weeks, the
first fruits of wheat harvest, and the festival of ingathering at the
turn of the year. 23 Three times in the year all your males shall
appear before YHWH Eloyhim, the Eloyhim of Israel.
Lev.
23: 34 Speak to the people of Israel, saying: On the
fifteenth day of this seventh month, and lasting seven days, there
shall be the festival of booths to YHWH. 35 The first day
shall be a holy convocation; you shall not work at your occupations.
36 Seven days you shall present YHWH's offerings by fire; on the
eighth day you shall observe a holy convocation and present YHWH's
offerings by fire; it is a solemn assembly; you shall not work at your
occupations.
Lev.
23: 39 Now, the fifteenth day of the seventh month,
when you have gathered in the produce of the land, you shall keep the
festival of YHWH, lasting seven days; a complete rest on the first day,
and a complete rest on the eighth day. 40 On the first day
you shall take the fruit of majestic trees, branches of palm trees,
boughs of leafy trees, and willows of the brook; and you shall rejoice
before YHWH your Eloyhim for seven days. 41 You shall keep
it as a festival to YHWH seven days in the year; you shall keep it in
the seventh month as a statute forever throughout your
generations. 42 You shall live in booths for seven days;
all that are citizens in Israel shall live in booths, 43 so that
your generations may know that I made the people of Israel live in
booths when I brought them out of the land of Egypt: I am YHWH your
Eloyhim. 44 Thus Moses declared to the people of Israel the
appointed festivals of YHWH.
Deut.
16: 13 You shall keep the festival of booths
for seven days, when you have gathered in the produce from your
threshing floor and your wine press. 14 Rejoice during your
festival, you and your sons and your daughters, your male and female
slaves, as well as the Levites, the strangers, the orphans, and the
widows resident in your towns. 15 Seven days you shall keep
the festival for YHWH your Eloyhim at the place that YHWH will choose;
for YHWH your Eloyhim will bless you in all your produce and in all
your undertakings, and you shall surely celebrate. 16
Three times a year all your males shall appear before YHWH your Eloyhim
at the place that he will choose: at the festival of unleavened bread,
at the festival of weeks, and at the festival of booths. They shall not
appear before YHWH empty-handed; 17 all shall give as they
are able, according to the blessing of YHWH your Eloyhim that he has
given you.
Deut.
31: 10 Moses commanded them: "Every seventh year, in
the scheduled year of remission, during the festival of booths,
11 when all Israel comes to appear before YHWH your Eloyhim at
the place that he will choose, you shall read this law before all
Israel in their hearing. 12 Assemble the people--men,
women, and children, as well as the aliens residing in your towns--so
that they may hear and learn to fear YHWH your Eloyhim and to observe
diligently all the words of this law, 13 and so that their
children, who have not known it, may hear and learn to fear YHWH your
Eloyhim, as long as you live in the land that you are crossing over the
Jordan to possess."
2nd
Chronicles 8: 12 Then Solomon offered up burnt
offerings to YHWH on the altar of YHWH that he had built in front of
the vestibule, 13 as the duty of each day required, offering
according to the commandment of Moses for the sabbaths, the new moons,
and the three annual festivals--the festival of unleavened bread, the
festival of weeks, and the festival of booths.
Neh.
8: 8:1 all the people gathered together into the
square before the Water Gate. They told the scribe Ezra to bring the
book of the law of Moses, which YHWH had given to Israel.
2
Accordingly, the priest Ezra brought the law before the assembly, both
men and women and all who could hear with understanding. This was on
the first day of the seventh month.
3
He read from it facing the square before the Water Gate from early
morning until midday, in the presence of the men and the women and
those who could understand; and the ears of all the people were
attentive to the book of the law. 4 The scribe Ezra stood
on a wooden platform that had been made for the purpose; and beside him
stood Mattithiah, Shema, Anaiah, Uriah, Hilkiah, and Maaseiah on his
right hand; and Pedaiah, Mishael, Malchijah, Hashum, Hash-baddanah,
Zechariah, and Meshullam on his left hand. 5 And Ezra
opened the book in the sight of all the people, for he was standing
above all the people; and when he opened it, all the people stood
up. 6 Then Ezra blessed YHWH, the great Eloyhim, and all
the people answered, "Amen, Amen," lifting up their hands. Then they
bowed their heads and worshiped YHWH with their faces to the
ground. 7 Also Jeshua, Bani, Sherebiah, Jamin, Akkub,
Shabbethai, Hodiah, Maaseiah, Kelita, Azariah, Jozabad, Hanan, Pelaiah,
the Levites, helped the people to understand the law, while the people
remained in their places. 8 So they read from the book,
from the law of Eloyhim, with interpretation. They gave the sense, so
that the people understood the reading. 9 And Nehemiah, who
was the governor, and Ezra the priest and scribe, and the Levites who
taught the people said to all the people, "This day is holy to YHWH
your Eloyhim; do not mourn or weep." For all the people wept when they
heard the words of the law.
10
Then he said to them, "Go your way, eat the fat and drink sweet wine
and send portions of them to those for whom nothing is prepared, for
this day is holy to our LORD; and do not be grieved, for the joy of
YHWH is your strength." 11 So the Levites stilled all
the people, saying, "Be quiet, for this day is holy; do not be
grieved." 12 And all the people went their way to eat and
drink and to send portions and to make great rejoicing, because they
had understood the words that were declared to them. 13 On
the second day the heads of ancestral houses of all the people, with
the priests and the Levites, came together to the scribe Ezra in order
to study the words of the law. 14 And they found it written
in the law, which YHWH had commanded by Moses, that the people of
Israel should live in booths during the festival of the seventh month,
15
and that they should publish and proclaim in all their towns and in
Jerusalem as follows, "Go out to the hills and bring branches of olive,
wild olive, myrtle, palm, and other leafy trees to make booths, as it
is written." 16 So the people went out and brought them,
and made booths for themselves, each on the roofs of their houses, and
in their courts and in the courts of the house of Eloyhim, and in the
square at the Water Gate and in the square at the Gate of Ephraim.
17
And all the assembly of those who had returned from the captivity made
booths and lived in them; for from the days of Jeshua son of Nun to
that day the people of Israel had not done so. And there was very great
rejoicing. 18 And day by day, from the first day to the
last day, he read from the book of the law of Eloyhim. They kept the
festival seven days; and on the eighth day there was a solemn assembly,
according to the ordinance.
Zec.
14: 16 Then the survivors from all the nations that have
attacked Jerusalem will go up year after year to worship the King, YHWH
Almighty, and to celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles. 17 If
any of the peoples of the earth do not go up to Jerusalem to worship
the King, YHWH Almighty, they will have no rain. 18 If the
Egyptian people do not go up and take part, they will have no rain.
YHWH will bring on them the plague he inflicts on the nations that do
not go up to celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles. 19 This
will be the punishment of Egypt and the punishment of all the nations
that do not go up to celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles. 20
On that day HOLY TO YHWH will be inscribed on the bells of the horses,
and the cooking pots in YHWH's house will be like the sacred bowls in
front of the altar. 21 Every pot in Jerusalem and Judah
will be holy to YHWH Almighty, and all who come to sacrifice will take
some of the pots and cook in them. And on that day there will no longer
be a Canaanite in the house of YHWH Almighty.

(This website)
1. Leaf Collage / Placemats - Find different leaves during
Sukkot. See how many different leaves you can find, and see how
many different colors you can find also. Lay all the leaves on a
hard, flat surface. Arrange all the leaves in any order that you
like. Next lay a sheet of white paper (Sketch paper, printer
paper, or other) on top of your leaves. Then take crayons and
color the paper. Use different colors. You will come out
with some really neat designs. If you want, you can lamenate the
paper, and use it as a place mat. This way if something spills on
it, it won't hurt your art work.
