The New Testament abolishes the Everlasting Covenant
Many chr-stians continue observing the Sabbath and the Leviticus
23 Holy Days based upon the theory that the New Testament yet
requires such observance. The Everlasting Covenant in the Holy
Scriptures (Old Testament) certainly does require the keeping of
these days. Those who study the Holy Scriptures are also aware
these same observances will be required after the Messiah arrives
as is shown in the Prophecies of the Holy Scriptures. What is
interesting are the New Testament verses that indicate otherwise.
Many chr-stian ministers are aware of these verses and teach
accordingly. The result in this country is the enthusiastic
celebration of festivals that originated in ancient, heathen
cultures and complete ignorance of the commanded Holy Days
(Leviticus 23). The Eternal strictly forbids imitating heathen
cultures yet, somehow chr-stians see fit to ignore those
instructions. In reality, the New Testament verses provide the
justification for these celebrations. The chr-stian ministers are
on solid footing if the New Testament is to be believed. The fact
that the prophets foretell a time in the Holy Scriptures when the
final Messiah shall rule the earth and the Everlasting Covenant
will be in effect contradicts these New Testament verses. Is the
New Testament Volume Two of a set? No, it is not. What follows
are verses from the New Testament that contradict the Holy
Scriptures.
Acts 13
35 So it is stated elsewhere: "'You will not let your Holy
One see decay.'
36 "For when David had served God's purpose in his own
generation, he fell asleep; he was buried with his fathers and
his body decayed.
The Holy Scriptures state clearly that David will be their
resurrected King:
Ezekiel 34
22 I will save my flock, and they will no longer be plundered. I
will judge between one sheep and another.
23 I will place over them one shepherd, my servant David, and he
will tend them; he will tend them and be their shepherd.
24 I the LORD will be their God, and my servant David will be
prince among them. I the LORD have spoken.
Jeremiah 30
8 "' In that day,' declares the LORD Almighty, 'I will break
the yoke off their necks and will tear off their bonds; no longer
will foreigners enslave them.
9 Instead, they will serve the LORD their God and David their
king, whom I will raise up for them.
10 "'So do not fear, O Jacob my servant; do not be dismayed,
O Israel,' declares the LORD. 'I will surely save you out of a
distant place, your descendants from the land of their exile.
Jacob will again have peace and security, and no one will make
him afraid.
11 I am with you and will save you,' declares the LORD. 'Though I
completely destroy all the nations among which I scatter you, I
will not completely destroy you. I will discipline you but only
with justice; I will not let you go entirely unpunished.'
Acts 13
38 Be it known unto you therefore, men and brethren, that through
this man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins:
39 And by him all that believe are justified from all things,
from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses.
Romans 3
27 Where, then, is boasting? It is excluded. On what principle?
On that of observing the law? No, but on that of faith.
28 For we maintain that a man is justified by faith apart from
observing the law.
This is contradicted in the following scriptures:
Ezekiel 18
5 "Suppose there is a righteous man who does what is just
and right.
6 He does not eat at the mountain shrines or look to the idols of
the house of Israel. He does not defile his neighbor's wife or
lie with a woman during her period.
7 He does not oppress anyone, but returns what he took in pledge
for a loan. He does not commit robbery but gives his food to the
hungry and provides clothing for the naked.
8 He does not lend at usury or take excessive interest. He
withholds his hand from doing wrong and judges fairly between man
and man.
9 He follows my decrees and faithfully keeps my laws. That man is
righteous; he will surely live, declares the Sovereign LORD.
Romans 5
13 for before the law was given, sin was in the world. But sin is
not taken into account when there is no law.
This is contradicted by the flood that destroyed all life because
the world was filled with sin and violence:
Genesis 7
23 He blotted out every living thing that was on the face of the
ground, human beings and animals and creeping things and birds of
the air; they were blotted out from the earth. Only Noah was
left, and those that were with him in the ark.
Romans 5
19 For just as through the disobedience of the one man the many
were made sinners, so also through the obedience of the one man
the many will be made righteous.
This is contradicted by Ezekiel 18
2 "What do you people mean by quoting this proverb about the
land of Israel: "'The fathers eat sour grapes, and the
children's teeth are set on edge'?
3 "As surely as I live, declares the Sovereign LORD, you
will no longer quote this proverb in Israel.
4 For every living soul belongs to me, the father as well as the
son--both alike belong to me. The soul who sins is the one who
will die.
Galatians 2
16 know that a man is not justified by observing the law, but by
faith in J-sus chr-st. So we, too, have put our faith in chr-st
J-sus that we may be justified by faith in chr-st and not by
observing the law, because by observing the law no one will be
justified.
This is absolutely not true as seen in the following verses:
Deuteronomy 28 NIV
13 The LORD will make you the head, not the tail. If you pay
attention to the commands of the LORD your God that I give you
this day and carefully follow them, you will always be at the
top, never at the bottom.
14 Do not turn aside from any of the commands I give you today,
to the right or to the left, following other gods and serving
them.
Ezekiel 37
23 Neither shall they defile themselves any more with their
idols, nor with their detestable things, nor with any of their
transgressions: but I will save them out of all their dwelling
places, wherein they have sinned, and will cleanse them: so shall
they be my people, and I will be their God.
24 And David my servant shall be king over them; and they all
shall have one shepherd: they shall also walk in my judgments,
and observe my statutes, and do them.
Colossians 2
16 Therefore do not let anyone judge you by what you eat or
drink, or with regard to a religious festival, a New Moon
celebration or a Sabbath day.
17 These are a shadow of the things that were to come; the
reality, however, is found in chr-st.
This is shown to be false by a prophecy that has not yet been
fulfilled:
Zechariah 14 NIV
16 Then the survivors from all the nations that have attacked
Jerusalem will go up year after year to worship the King, the
LORD Almighty, and to celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles.
17 If any of the peoples of the earth do not go up to Jerusalem
to worship the King, the LORD Almighty, they will have no rain.
18 If the Egyptian people do not go up and take part, they will
have no rain. The LORD will bring on them the plague he inflicts
on the nations that do not go up to celebrate the Feast of
Tabernacles.
19 This will be the punishment of Egypt and the punishment of all
the nations that do not go up to celebrate the Feast of
Tabernacles.
20 On that day HOLY TO THE LORD will be inscribed on the bells of
the horses, and the cooking pots in the Lord's house will be like
the sacred bowls in front of the altar.
21 Every pot in Jerusalem and Judah will be holy to the LORD
Almighty, and all who come to sacrifice will take some of the
pots and cook in them. And on that day there will no longer be a
Canaanite in the house of the LORD Almighty.

Galatians 2
3 Yet not even Titus, who was with me, was compelled to be
circumcised, even though he was a Greek.
4 This matter arose because some false brothers had infiltrated
our ranks to spy on the freedom we have in Christ Jesus and to
make us slaves.
Galatians 2
21 I do not set aside the grace of God, for if righteousness
could be gained through the law, Christ died for nothing!"
Galatians 3
2 I would like to learn just one thing from you: Did you receive
the Spirit by observing the law, or by believing what you heard?
3 Are you so foolish? After beginning with the Spirit, are you
now trying to attain your goal by human effort?
4 Have you suffered so much for nothing--if it really was for
nothing?
5 Does God give you his Spirit and work miracles among you
because you observe the law, or because you believe what you
heard?
Galatians 3
10 All who rely on observing the law are under a curse, for it is
written: "Cursed is everyone who does not continue to do
everything written in the Book of the Law."
11 Clearly no one is justified before God by the law, because,
"The righteous will live by faith."
12 The law is not based on faith; on the contrary, "The man
who does these things will live by them."
Galatians 3
19 What, then, was the purpose of the law? It was added because
of transgressions until the Seed to whom the promise referred had
come. The law was put into effect through angels by a mediator.
20 A mediator, however, does not represent just one party; but
God is one.
21 Is the law, therefore, opposed to the promises of God?
Absolutely not! For if a law had been given that could impart
life, then righteousness would certainly have come by the law.
22 But the Scripture declares that the whole world is a prisoner
of sin, so that what was promised, being given through faith in
Jesus Christ, might be given to those who believe.
23 Before this faith came, we were held prisoners by the law,
locked up until faith should be revealed.
24 So the law was put in charge to lead us to Christ that we
might be justified by faith.
25 Now that faith has come, we are no longer under the
supervision of the law.
Galatians 4
9 But now that you know God--or rather are known by God--how is
it that you are turning back to those weak and miserable
principles? Do you wish to be enslaved by them all over again?
10 You are observing special days and months and seasons and
years!
11 I fear for you, that somehow I have wasted my efforts on you.
Galatians 5
5:1 It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm,
then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of
slavery.
2 Mark my words! I, Paul, tell you that if you let yourselves be
circumcised, Christ will be of no value to you at all.
3 Again I declare to every man who lets himself be circumcised
that he is obligated to obey the whole law.
4 You who are trying to be justified by law have been alienated
from Christ; you have fallen away from grace.
5 But by faith we eagerly await through the Spirit the
righteousness for which we hope.
6 For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision has
any value. The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself
through love.
This is definitely contradicted by the following scriptures:
Genesis 17
9 Then God said to Abraham, "As for you, you must keep my
covenant, you and your descendants after you for the generations
to come.
10 This is my covenant with you and your descendants after you,
the covenant you are to keep: Every male among you shall be
circumcised.
11 You are to undergo circumcision, and it will be the sign of
the covenant between me and you.
12 For the generations to come every male among you who is eight
days old must be circumcised, including those born in your
household or bought with money from a foreigner--those who are
not your offspring.
13 Whether born in your household or bought with your money, they
must be circumcised. My covenant in your flesh is to be an
everlasting covenant.
Galatians 5
14 The entire law is summed up in a single command: "Love
your neighbor as yourself."
What about the first four commandments? They are conspicuously
missing here.
Galatians 5
18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under law.
Ephesians 2
14 For he himself is our peace, who has made the two one and has
destroyed the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility,
15 by abolishing in his flesh the law with its commandments and
regulations. His purpose was to create in himself one new man out
of the two, thus making peace,
2 Corinthians 5-17 NIV
5 Not that we are competent in ourselves to claim anything for
ourselves, but our competence comes from God.
6 He has made us competent as ministers of a new covenant--not of
the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the
Spirit gives life.
The letter, meaning the law, kills? This is clear contradiction
of the following:
Leviticus 18
18:1 The LORD said to Moses,
2 "Speak to the Israelites and say to them: 'I am the LORD
your God.
3 You must not do as they do in Egypt, where you used to live,
and you must not do as they do in the land of Canaan, where I am
bringing you. Do not follow their practices.
4 You must obey my laws and be careful to follow my decrees. I am
the LORD your God.
5 Keep my decrees and laws, for the man who obeys them will live
by them. I am the LORD.
These verses from the New Testament use scriptures from Isaiah:
Matthew 13
11 He replied, "The knowledge of the secrets of the kingdom
of heaven has been given to you, but not to them.
12 Whoever has will be given more, and he will have an abundance.
Whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken from him.
13 This is why I speak to them in parables: "Though seeing,
they do not see; though hearing, they do not hear or understand.
14 In them is fulfilled the prophecy of Isaiah: "'You will
be ever hearing but never understanding; you will be ever seeing
but never perceiving.
15 For this people's heart has become calloused; they hardly hear
with their ears, and they have closed their eyes. Otherwise they
might see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with
their hearts and turn, and I would heal them.'
16 But blessed are your eyes because they see, and your ears
because they hear.
17 For I tell you the truth, many prophets and righteous men
longed to see what you see but did not see it, and to hear what
you hear but did not hear it.
This is a copy of the following:
Isaiah 6
8 Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, "Whom shall I
send? And who will go for us?" And I said, "Here am I.
Send me!"
9 He said, "Go and tell this people: "'Be ever hearing,
but never understanding; be ever seeing, but never perceiving.'
10 Make the heart of this people calloused; make their ears dull
and close their eyes. Otherwise they might see with their eyes,
hear with their ears, understand with their hearts, and turn and
be healed."
11 Then I said, "For how long, O Lord?" And he
answered: "Until the cities lie ruined and without
inhabitant, until the houses are left deserted and the fields
ruined and ravaged,
12 until the LORD has sent everyone far away and the land is
utterly forsaken.
13 And though a tenth remains in the land, it will again be laid
waste. But as the terebinth and oak leave stumps when they are
cut down, so the holy seed will be the stump in the land."
The scripture in Isaiah is directed to a people chasing false
gods, in disobedience and facing certain punishment. The verses
from the New Testament are directed to J-sus audience and claim
to have the same authority and meaning but exactly the opposite
is true. The intent is to lead these people away from the law.
What is evident from these New Testament verses is the clear
intent to do away with the law. Be assured there are many more
such verses. The contradictions prove these later writings do not
follow from the original instructions in the Holy Scriptures.
This second book is clearly a well thought out creation that has
succeeded in deceiving billions and the state of American
churches is a testimony to its effectiveness.
