Studies For the older Children:
1. Look up and find other proofs in the TNK that say a man shall not sleep with a woman, or a woman with a man until married.
2. Do a marriage study. Show how the TNK says to get married. What did the man and his future wife do in order to get married? What was involved? Was there a big wedding or even a small wedding as people have today? Is there anything wrong with having a big or small wedding? If so what? Show examples of different people throughout TNK getting married and what they did (show book and verses to show your proof).
Also, if you want, you can show men having more than one wife, and if the ones that did have more than one wife, did they have to accomplish certain things before having more than one wife? If so what did they have to accomplish? Also, what is the command for those who want more than one wife not to do? (Give book and verses to show your proof).
3. Make a list showing the blessing of getting married, and having a family. Show from the TNK what YHWH says about replenishing the earth.
4. YHWH told Abram in chapter 15, "Look up at the heavens and count the stars--if indeed you can count them." Then he said to him, "So shall your offspring be." Why do you think Abram did not wait for YHWH to help Sarai to conceive? Do you think Abram did not trust YHWH? Or did he think that Hagar was where all the offspring were to come from, and not Sarai? Write out what you think and why?
