Here are the links to the Sukkot board game. Print out the
Questions and Answers. After you have the questions printed out,
cut each question card out. If you want to, you can glue the
question page to construction paper, or other stiff paper, and then cut
each card out.
After you have your cards cut out, lay all the question cards down in the middle of the game board.
You can either use the cards with the answers on them, or you can use
the list of answers. If you use the answer cards, it would be
easier for you to glue the answers to the back of it's question
card.
If you don't want to use the question cards, then the list will work.
Lay the question cards face up in the middle of the board. If
using the answer list, lay it face down over to one side of the game
board.
For this game, use only one dice.
Everyone needs to throw the dice only once. Those who roll the
same number as someone else, those people get to roll again. The
one with the lowest number goes first, the next highest goes next, and
so on. So the person who rolls the highest will go last.
Each person needs to find something to use as a marker. Use a
checker, or chess piece, or anything that you want to. Put
everyone's pieces on one of the corners to start the game. The
first person rolls a dice, then picks one question card and tries to
answer the question. If the person rolling the dice gets the
correct answer, then that person gets to move ahead the number he or
she rolled. Only look at the answer "after" you have
tried to answer the questions. Then go to the next person.
There are 112 questions. I have a LOT more questions that can go
with this game, and I will work on making some more cards. I will
try to get more done and the url to them sent out by sunday or monday
(9-26-04 or 9-27-04). You can also print off some of the
questions that you have done through the other studies on the site, and
use them also for this game.
The point is always the same. Have fun learning about YHWH's laws, commands, Sabbaths, and Feast. :0)
Board Game
(print out the board game. This should use a 6 pages. Cut
out the board game, and lay it out. Take 3 sheets of construction
paper, and lay them long ways on the table and glue them together, end
to end. Next glue each page of the puzzle together on your
construction paper. Let dry.
You can print the Gameboard out in color, but if you want to
personalize the board, you can print it out in black and white, and
then color it the way you like it, after it has dried good.
